Stay
Sofitel Mexico City Reforma
Main Hotel & Room Block
Please join us at the Sofitel Mexico City Reforma! This hotel will be the home base for us, and our Indian Wedding Reception will be held here. We also plan to have more informal gatherings here like having hotel breakfast together.
We visited this hotel during our visit this year and was blown away by the quality of the service and how comfortable the rooms were. We loved the pool + sauna on the 38th floor, and the rooftop bar.
If you plan to join us, please use this link below to book. We’ve secured a nice discount for our guests!
If you’d like to explore a different type of accommodation, Mexico City has a ton of great hotels and Airbnbs to offer.
Our favorite neighborhoods to stay in are Condesa and Polanco - they are more relaxed neighborhoods with many great restaurants, cafes, and shops. We love the green spaces and walking paths in both of these neighborhoods!
If you’re booking an Airbnb, here are a few things to double check the listing details and reviews for:
A/C - many Airbnbs do not have A/C. The January weather in CDMX doesn’t require an A/C, so it’s not necessary, but we know there are those of you out there who prefer a controlled, cool room :)
Water pressure - older buildings may not have the best water pressure. If this is important to you, make sure to read about this in the reviews.
Elevators - not all Airbnbs have elevators. If you need this, make sure to check the description

Travel
✈︎ Mexico City International Airport Benito Juárez (MEX)
Mexico City International Airport (Benito Juárez, MEX) is the closest and most convenient airport to the city, located just 5 miles (about 3 miles east of the historic center). We highly recommend flying into this airport! It's one the busiest hubs in Latin America and offers the widest variety of non-stop international flights, so you'll have plenty of options. Once you land, simply request an Uber. Rides into the central neighborhoods like Roma, Condesa, or Polanco typically run $10–20 USD depending on traffic.
✈︎ Felipe Ángeles International Airport (NLU)
If you can't find a convenient flight into MEX, Felipe Ángeles (AIFA, NLU) is the city's newer secondary airport. Keep in mind it's located about 30 miles north of the city center, so the drive is longer (roughly 50 to 90 minutes depending on traffic). It handles select domestic routes and a growing number of international destinations, so it's worth checking if MEX flights are limited or pricey. As with MEX, we recommend grabbing an Uber straight from the airport. Just note that because of the distance, the fare will be higher (often $40–60 USD)
➠ Getting Around Mexico City
We recommend using Uber throughout your stay! It's widely available, affordable, and the easiest way to get around the city safely. Simply download the app before you arrive and you'll be set from the moment you land. Avoid unofficial taxis or anyone else offering rides - stick to the app!
