For those less familiar with Indian dress, festive cocktail attire in bright, jewel-toned colors is perfectly welcome. Mexico City is increasingly card-friendly, but it's always helpful to have some Mexican pesos on hand for tipping, taxis, and exploring on your own. We recommend exchanging currency upon arrival or withdrawing from a local ATM.

January in Mexico City is dry season. Think mild, sunny days and cool evenings. You can expect daytime highs around 65–75°F and evenings dipping to around 45–50°F. It’s essentially perfect weather - all you need is a light jacket in the evenings.
